40 Day (Lenten) Prayer outline

We Believe that Christ is preparing His Church for His return.

We note that He is uniting His people in unprecedented prayer.

We praise God for a spreading spirit of partnership in missions.

We rejoice in the Holy Spirit opening entire nations to His call.

We observe the Gospel reaching the last un-reached peoples.

The 40-day Season of Lent, 2000, has been chosen after inter-national consultation – ASH WEDNESDAY, March 8, to PALM SUNDAY, April 16. For the past several years, powerful months of international prayer have been offered for the 10-40 Window. Now, more than ever, is the time for united simultaneous prayer for all the world!

For those wishing to participate in this season of prayer the following calendar has been produced giving daily prayer points and bible verses for your use.

Week One – Promise of Hope: Revival of the Church

During the first 11-day period, we'll seek God to fulfil His promise to cleanse, revive and restore His people.
